Lights, Camera… Nerea!

Hoooi! I’m Nerea Quijada. Content creator with a journalist’s soul, a customer service agent’s empathy, and a child’s boundless curiosity with a 📸camera in hand
I won’t give you my full biography — that’s what CVs and long sobremesas are for. But here’s the fast-forward version:
When I was little, my mum couldn’t get me to eat unless The Jungle Book was playing and Baloo was singing “The Bare Necessities.”
At age five, I’d ask my dad to hand over the holiday video camera (yes, the one with the tapes) so I could direct the family.
And whenever I played alone, I’d put on a CD, choreograph a show and perform like I was already on stage.
Spoiler: that girl didn’t grow out of it 🙈

Since then, I’ve interviewed politicians, answered calls at El Corte Inglés, hosted live radio, worked behind the scenes in a theatre, managed press communications for a university, volunteered abroad, and created social media campaigns for everything from restaurants and tourist apartments to solar energy companies and medical centres.
And somewhere in between, I moved to 🇵🇱 Poland, became part of a multicultural team in a big tech company, and 👩🏫 taught Spanish to adults who had never spoken a word of it.

It’s been quite a ride.
But through every role, one thing has stayed the same: I’ve always loved stories.
Creating them. Sharing them. Making them shine ✨
So no, I’m not a barista (yet).
But if storytelling had a flavour, I’d probably serve it with oat milk and a dash of boldness.
Give me a brand (a good one)... and I’ll find the right format, tone and rhythm to make it stand out — and connect.

Bonus track:
I love cold beer on sunny terraces,
singing in the car on long drives, and those magical moments when someone says “do it your way” — because trust is my favourite brief
.
I don’t have pets (plants are more my thing), but if I could, I’d fill my flat with sunflowers and poppies.
And yes, I take too many 📸 photos of the sky.
